1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to the study abroad counselling, admission processing, scholarship, visa advisory and related services provided by Ewere Educational Agency (“EEA”, “we”, “us”), a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, of 28 Fadehan Street, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos. By using our website or services you agree to these terms.
2. Our services
We provide guidance on choosing courses, universities and destinations; help preparing and submitting applications to educational institutions directly or through recruitment platforms; scholarship guidance; student visa advice; and pre-departure support. The specific services, timelines and any fees for your case will be confirmed to you in writing.
3. No guarantee of admission, scholarship or visa
Admission decisions are made solely by the universities and colleges, scholarship decisions by the awarding bodies, and visa decisions by the relevant embassy or immigration authority. We will give you honest advice and help you submit the strongest possible application, but we cannot guarantee any offer, scholarship or visa.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate and truthful information.
- Provide only genuine documents. Submitting false or altered documents will end our service immediately and may be reported to the institution or authority concerned.
- Meet the deadlines we agree with you, and tell us promptly about any change in your circumstances.
- Read and keep copies of all offers, conditions and correspondence from institutions and authorities.
5. Fees and payments
Your first consultation is free. Any service fees will be agreed with you in writing before work begins. Third-party costs – such as university application fees, tuition deposits, English test fees, visa fees and health surcharges – are paid by you, normally directly to the organisation concerned. Refunds of any EEA service fee are handled according to the written agreement for your case. Institution and government fees are subject to their own refund policies.
6. Third parties
We work with universities, colleges, pathway providers and application platforms such as ApplyBoard and Edvoy. We are not responsible for the decisions, policies or services of these third parties, or of embassies and immigration authorities.
7. Communication
We will contact you by phone, WhatsApp and email about your enquiry or application. Please check your email, including spam folders, regularly during the application process.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and our Privacy Policy.
9. Website use
Information on this website is general guidance and may change – entry requirements, scholarships and visa rules are set by others and are updated frequently. Always confirm details with your counsellor. Website content, logos and design belong to EEA and may not be copied without permission.
10. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions of institutions or authorities, from information you provide being inaccurate, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
