Frequently asked questions about studying in United States

Can Nigerian students get scholarships in the USA?

Yes. Many US universities offer merit scholarships to strong international applicants, often considered automatically when you apply. EEA helps you target universities where your profile is competitive.

Do I need the SAT to study in the USA?

Many US universities are now test-optional, but some courses and scholarships still consider SAT or ACT scores. We will advise whether taking the test would help your application.

Which visa do I need to study in the USA?

Most students need an F-1 student visa. After your university issues an I-20 you pay the SEVIS fee, complete the online application and attend a visa interview.
